Abstract:
An image display device (10) is provided with an image display unit (100) having a display panel (110), a shelf board unit (150), and a lighting unit (200). The display panel (110) can be switched between an image display mode for displaying an image, and a transparent mode in which objects (500a, 500b) on the rear-surface side of the image display unit (100) are in a visually recognizable transparent state when viewed from the front. The shelf board unit (150) is erected rearward from the rear surface of the image display unit (100) and extends in the lateral direction. The lighting unit (200) is arranged above the shelf board unit (150) and emits light downward.
