Abstract:
An image display device (10) comprises: a display panel (102) that displays an image on a front surface; a light guide plate (103) disposed on the back surface of the display panel (102); a support plate (101) that supports the light guide plate (103), the support plate (101) extending beyond the side surface of the light guide plate (103) when the light guide plate (103) is viewed from the front; an LED unit (150) that emits incident light onto an incident surface (103a) of the light guide plate (103); and a light-blocking member (182a) that covers the gap between the LED unit (150) and the light guide plate (103) when viewed from the side of the light guide plate (103) and the LED unit (150), and fills the space (S) between the display panel (102) and the support plate (101).
