Abstract:
It is possible to provide a distortion correction method, a distortion correction
program, and an optical device capable of effectively correcting distortion
while suppressing an information amount of the distortion correction information.
For this, the distortion correction method includes: a step for expressing
a distortion aberration of an optical system for imaging as a function of the lens
position and preparing information on its coefficient as the optical system
distortion correction information in advance; and a step for correcting the
distortion of an image captured by the optical system according to the lens position
upon imaging and the prepared distortion correction information. In the preparation
step, the coefficient is optimized (S11 to S15) so as to appropriately control
a residual aberration at least two lens positions.
