Abstract:
The present invention assists in editing work by a user who uses a searched image. This image editing device extracts image feature amounts from a plurality of images obtained by performing searching, classifies the plurality of images on the basis of the extracted image feature amounts, causes a display unit to display classification results, and thereby provides editing auxiliary information. Specifically, through classification based on the image feature amounts, the image editing device defines, as a first image set, images classified as belonging to a cluster that includes images the number of which being equal to or more than a prescribed proportion of all the plurality of images, causes the display unit to display, in a distinguishing way, the images (first image set display region 36) belonging to the first image set and images (second image set display region 34, third image set display region 35) other than those images.
