Abstract:
Disclosed are image encoding and decoding methods, an apparatus, an encoder, a decoder and a system, relating to the field of multimedia. The method comprises: according to an approximate value of the number of remaining encoding units, determining an adjustment value of the number of lossy bits. That is, an averaging link involving division during a process of calculating the number of lossy bits can be implemented at both a coding end and a decoding end by means of shifting operations, such that the accuracy of the number of lossy bits is improved while calculation complexity is not increased. Furthermore, the accuracy of quantization parameters is further improved, thereby effectively improving image quality of reconstructed images.
