Abstract:
Presented is an image encoding method based on AI, comprising: inputting the current frame and a reference frame into a motion vector encoder, and applying a plurality of resolution scales to the current frame and the reference frame through the motion vector encoder so as to acquire motion vector feature data on the current frame; inputting the motion vector feature data into a motion vector decoder so as to acquire the current motion vector; acquiring the current prediction image on the basis of the current motion vector and the reference frame; and generating a bitstream on the basis of the motion vector feature data and the current prediction image.
