Abstract:

Disclosed is an image decoding method comprising: on the basis of the width of a predetermined differential quantization parameter signaling unit, acquiring, from a bitstream, a differential quantization parameter for the current encoding unit; acquiring a quantization parameter for the current encoding unit by using a prediction quantization parameter for the current encoding unit and the differential quantization parameter for the current encoding unit; on the basis of the acquired quantization parameter for the current encoding unit, acquiring at least one dequantized coefficient by dequantizing at least one coefficient acquired on the basis of residual information of the current encoding unit within the bitstream; on the basis of the dequantized coefficient, acquiring a residual block of the current encoding unit; and on the basis of the acquired residual block of the current encoding unit, acquiring a reconstructed block of the current encoding unit.
