Abstract:
The disclosed image evaluation device computes characteristic values that indicate how well person (a and b) objects show up in an image (A) and how well a person (b) object shows up in another image (B). The image evaluation device identifies the photographer of the second image (B) as person (b') and computes the likelihood thereof. The image evaluation device then computes the importance of each image (A and B) using the characteristic values for the people (a and b) in the images (A and B) and the likelihood of the photographer of the second image (B).
