Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an image formation device which is provided with an exposure means for irradiating an image carrier with light and forming an electrostatic latent image in an image carrier and in which a cartridge, which has a developer containing unit for containing a developer, is detachable, the image formation device comprising: a light receiving unit which receives light emitted from the exposure means and is provided in the cartridge; and a detection means which detects the vibration of the cartridge from a light reception value obtained by receiving the light in the light receiving unit.
