Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to properly form printed images with an image formation device in which cartridges that contain cyan, magenta, yellow, and black toner can be replaced with a cartridge that contains a functional toner to perform special printing. When the cartridges of four image formation units 30a–30d are a cyan cartridge 31C, a magenta cartridge 31M, a yellow cartridge 31Y, and a special cartridge 31SP, a controller 50 performs special printing processing that includes a first printing step for making the image formation units that have the cyan cartridge, the magenta cartridge, and the yellow cartridge form a base image and a second printing step for making the image formation unit 30 that has the special cartridge 31SP form a second printed image on a sheet M.
