Abstract:
An image formation device is provided with: a registration roller (34) which adjusts a time in point when the conveyance of paper is started; a printing unit (4) which forms a color image or a monochrome image on a photosensitive drum (13) and transfers and prints the color image or the monochrome image from the photosensitive drum (13) onto the paper on the downstream side in the conveyance direction of the paper from the registration roller (34); and a line sensor (56) which detects the conveyance position of the paper on the upstream side in the conveyance direction of the paper from the printing unit (4). The image formation device is provided with a control unit (61) which finds the amount of displacement of the paper with respect to a preset reference position of the paper on the basis of the conveyance position of the paper detected by the line sensor (56), corrects the image formation position of the color image or the monochrome image on the photosensitive drum (13) according to the amount of displacement to correct the printing position of the color image or the monochrome image onto the paper, and changes a method for correcting the printing position according to whether either the color image or the monochrome image is formed.
