Abstract:
After a fixed period of time has passed with no operation received by an operating unit (6), a control unit (1) switches the operation mode to a first power saving mode (Lp1) when the brightness detected by a brightness detection unit (82) is greater than or equal to a given brightness, and switches the operation mode to a second power saving mode (Lp2) when the brightness detected is less than the given brightness. The control unit (1) extends the detection range of a human detection unit (81) in the second power saving mode (Lp2) to a range broader than the range used in the first power saving mode (Lp1).
