Abstract:
Bad effects caused by spraying irregularities of a fixing liquid are suppressed. A control unit 10 controls a high voltage generation circuit 13 so that the current flowing to a nozzle electrode 80 of a spray unit 60 is greater than or equal to a minimum current value, and the voltage applied to the nozzle electrode 80 is greater than or equal to a minimum voltage value. The control unit 10 determines whether a detection value based on a detection signal received from a nozzle-side detection circuit 15 and a facing-side detection circuit 16 during execution of an output control is irregular, and performs error correction if the detection value is determined to be irregular.
