Abstract:
The present invention addresses the issue of limiting the number of times that life information stored in a consumables memory is reset. A controller (61) in an image formation device (1) executes: a first determination processing in which the manufacturer of a toner cartridge (4) is determined on the basis of manufacturer information; and a determination processing in which a maximum number of times indicated in upper limit information (625) is determined, in accordance with the manufacturer of the toner cartridge (4) determined by the first determination processing.
