Abstract:
A recording medium having an abnormality is prevented from being supplied to an image recording part by detecting the abnormality of the recording medium before the recording medium reaches the image recording part. An image forming device permits a transport part (10) to transport a recording medium (2) supplied from a paper feeding part (3) to an image recording part (17) to form an image, then, carries out the recording medium. When a recording medium abnormality detecting part (20) detects an abnormality which affects the image recording part (17) of the recording medium (2) between the paper feeding part (3) and the image recording part (17), the recording medium (2) is ejected by an abnormality ejecting part (21) through an abnormal time transport path (27) different from a normal transport path or transportation of the recording medium is stopped just before the image recording part (17) by an abnormality stopping part.
