Abstract:
Disclosed is an image-forming device wherein, in the case where a ten-key unit connected thereto is a dedicated ten-key unit which has: a ten-key section for executing, as a prescribed process, a numerical input process whereby numerical values-related information is inputted; and an operation key section and a setting key section that are for executing, as prescribed processes, other input processes whereby information concerning operations of the image-forming device other than the numerical input process is inputted (step S12; YES), a control unit executes, when an operation is performed on any of the key sections, the corresponding prescribed process (step S13). However, in the case where the connected ten-key unit is a general-purpose ten-key unit which is different from the dedicated ten-key unit (step S12; NO), the control unit executes the corresponding prescribed process only when an operation is performed on the ten-key section (step S14).
