Abstract:
The present invention suppresses rubbing of a development cartridge memory against a development memory terminal on the body housing side. This image forming device is provided with: a body housing having an opening 22A; a cover 210; development cartridges that are attachable to/detachable from the body housing via the opening in the axial direction; drum cartridges that have photosensitive drums, are disposed to be aligned with the development cartridges in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the axial direction, and are attachable to/detachable from the body housing via the opening in the axial direction; and development guides 90 that guide attachment and detachment of the development cartridges to/from the body housing. Each of the development guides 90 has a development memory terminal 94 that is movable together with the corresponding development cartridge between a first position where a development roller is caused to contact with the corresponding photosensitive drum and a second position where the development roller is separated from the photosensitive drum and that comes into contact with a development memory in a state where the development cartridge is mounted to the body housing.
