Abstract:
An image generation apparatus (24A) for generating an image for a head-up display comprises a plurality of light sources (120), an optical member (130A) for transmitting light emitted from the plurality of light sources (120), and a liquid crystal part (100) for generating a prescribed image using the light emitted from the optical member (130A). The optical member (130A) has an incidence surface (131A) for receiving light emitted from the plurality of light sources (120), and an emission surface (132A) for emitting, to the liquid crystal part (100), the light received by the incidence surface (131A). The emission surface (132A) is formed from a single curved surface.
