Abstract:
The present application provides an image generation method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a storage medium. The method comprises: according to rendering requirements of a plurality of layers in a target image to be generated, dividing the plurality of layers into a first type of layers and a second type of layers, wherein the first type of layers are layers supporting rendering of a processor unit, and the second type of layers are layers supporting rendering of a hardware composer (HWC); calling the processor unit by means of a hook function preset in a GLES thread to achieve rendering of the first type of layers; calling the HWC by means of an HWC client in a Linux operating system and an HWC server in the hardware abstraction layer to achieve rendering of the second type of layers; and compositing the rendered first type of layers and the rendered second type of layers by means of the HWC server to generate a target image.
