Abstract:
This image generation system (1) has an imaging unit (10) inclined by a tilt angle (T), a turning drive unit (20), and an image processing unit (30) for generating a full-dome image (DOUT) on the basis of an image group composed of a plurality of images (12) outputted from the imaging unit (10), the image processing unit (30) including: an imaging azimuth calculation unit (31) for calculating an imaging azimuth (Dp) per pixel of the plurality of images (12) on the basis of the angle of view per imaging pixel of the imaging unit (10), the coordinates (X', Y') per pixel of the plurality of images (12), and a pan angle (φ) that is the turning angle of the imaging unit (10); a pixel projection coordinate calculation unit (32) for calculating pixel projection coordinates (X, Y) per pixel of the plurality of images (12), the pixel projection coordinates (X, Y) representing the coordinates of a projection position in the coordinate system (xy) of the full-dome image, on the basis of the imaging azimuth (Dp) per pixel; and a pixel projection unit (33) for projecting each pixel of the plurality of images (12) to the pixel projection coordinates (X, Y) on a projection surface of the coordinate system (xy) of the full-dome image.
