Abstract:
A fixation device comprising a first and a second rotating body forming a pressurized nip part for clamping and transporting a recording member carrying a toner image, a pressurizing roller being used as one of the first and second rotating bodies, wherein: the pressing roller has an elastic layer provided along the rotary axis direction and a restricting member that, on a rotary-axis end side, restricts the elastic layer from deforming towards the end side. In a cross-section including the rotary axis of the pressurization roller, the elastic layer is provided with a first shape in which the radius from the rotary axis decreases towards the rotary-axis end side, and the restricting member is provided with a second shape in which the radius from the rotary axis decreases towards the rotary-axis end side.
