Abstract:
The present invention relates to an image encoding/decoding method and apparatus. The image decoding method according to the present invention can comprise the steps of: entropy-decoding information related to merge mode-based motion compensation for a current block; inducing a merge candidate for the current block; generating an initial merge candidate list for the current block by using the induced merge candidate; and generating a reconstructed merge candidate list by using the initial merge candidate list.
