Abstract:

An image pickup device is provided with improvements of a smaller size and a lower cost than a conventional device. A image pickup device (3) includes an image pickup element (12) for picking up an image formed on a receiving surface through a lens (11), a camera shake correcting unit (13) for correcting a blurred image due to a camera shake in accordance with at least two sheets of images taken with different exposure times by the image pickup element (12), and an output unit (14) for outputting the image subjected to the camera shake correction. The camera shake correcting unit (13) includes a proper-exposure-image acquiring unit (21) for acquiring a proper-exposure-image (ia) with the image pickup element (12) exposed during a properly exposing period of time, a short-time-exposure-image acquiring unit (22) for acquiring a short-time-exposure-image (is) with the image pickup element (12) exposed during a shorter exposing period of time than the properly exposing period of time, a camera shake correcting locus calculating unit (23) for calculating a camera shake locus for the proper-exposure-image, and a camera shake correcting image generating unit (24) for generating a camera shake correcting image (ic) in accordance with the proper-exposure-image (ia) and the camera shake lotus.
