Abstract:
This image pickup device has an illuminator, a stage, a plurality of microlenses, an image pickup element, and a control unit. The control unit controls the irradiation position of light to be applied from the illuminator and/or the positions of the microlenses such that a first state and a second state are achieved. A first angle of the light inputted to the microlenses in the first state, and a second angle of the light inputted to the microlenses in the second state are different from each other.
