Abstract:
A design support system includes: an on-site image analysis unit (11) that calculates on-site image analysis information and a reference PSNR by analyzing a captured image of an image capture range of a monitoring camera, the on-site image analysis information indicating a normal state within the image capture range; a prediction model generation unit (12) that generates, by analyzing sample images, a prediction model receiving, as inputs, situation information indicating an occurrence situation of an event resulting in an image quality degradation factor of the captured image, a coding parameter setting value, and analysis information regarding the captured image when the event resulting in the image quality degradation factor does not occur, the prediction model outputting an image quality decreasing degree when the event resulting in the image quality degradation factor occurs; and a recommended setting value presentation unit (13) that presents, on the basis of the image quality decreasing degree and the reference PSNR, a recommended setting value for a coding parameter with which the PSNR requested by a customer can be obtained, the image quality decreasing degree being obtained by inputting, to the prediction model, the situation information indicating the occurrence situation expected for the event resulting in the image quality degradation factor in the image capture range of the monitoring camera, the coding parameter setting value as a setting candidate, and the on-site image analysis information.
