Otherwise, the image processing apparatus outputs a rotated image obtained as result of rotating the front-face image of the ID card (105) 180 degrees, as an image indicating the front face thereof, and outputs a rotated image obtained as result of rotating the back-face image of the ID card (105) 180 degrees, as an image indicating the back face thereof. Otherwise, the image processing apparatus outputs a rotated image obtained as result of rotating the front-face image of the ID card (105), as an image indicating the back face thereof, and outputs a rotated image obtained as result of rotating the back-face image of the ID card (105), as an image indicating the front face thereof.
