Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to provide an image processing device enabling efficient storage of a video in which pathological change is shown, an endoscope system, and an image processing method. An image processing device according to a first embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a video acquisition unit that acquires an examination video of examination by an endoscope; a report information acquisition unit for acquiring report information that relates to the examination corresponding to the examination video and that includes at least one of subject information for a still image captured during the examination and acquisition time information for the still image; a report information analysis unit that extracts at least one of subject information for a pathological change image and acquisition time information for the pathological change image from the report information; and a video storage unit that uses the result of the extraction as a basis to save a pathological change video, namely, a video regarding a range of time including the pathological change image in the examination video.
