Abstract:
The present invention enables proper correction of an error in a region-by-region exposure setting that originates with an imaging sensor, thereby allowing a good image to be obtained. The image processing device is for correcting an image captured by an imaging sensor that allows exposure conditions to be set for each of a plurality of regions, and has: an acquisition means for acquiring the image by using the imaging sensor with the exposure conditions set for each region; a calculation means for calculating, with respect to the boundary between a region of interest and at least one adjacent region which adjoins the region of interest in the image, a correction amount in the region of interest on the basis of pixel values in a boundary pixel group positioned in contact with the boundary and included in the region of interest and on the basis of pixel values in a boundary pixel group positioned in contact with the boundary and included in the adjacent region; and a correction means for correcting the pixel values of the pixels in the region of interest on the basis of the calculated correction amount.
