Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an image processing device that makes it possible for a user to recognize images at desired timings. [Solution] This image processing device (100) comprises: an imaging sensor (111) that detects the occurrence of an event in a case of brightness changes at respective pixels exceeding a predetermined threshold value, and that outputs an event signal including information related to the time of the occurrence of the event and the pixel positions at which the event has occurred; driving units (106, 107) that drive at least one of an optical member (108), which constitutes at least a part of an imaging optical system (109), or the imaging sensor such that the brightness changes exceed the predetermined threshold value; and a processing unit (112) that processes the event signal outputted from the imaging sensor while the driving units are driving at least one of the optical member or the imaging sensor.
