Abstract:
An image processing device (10) is provided with: a receiving unit (101) for receiving a plurality of items of image data relating to a machine tool, captured by an image capturing unit attached inside the machine tool, which employs a tool to process a workpiece; a point group data forming unit (102) for forming point group data, constituting profile information relating to the profile of the tool, from the plurality of items of image data received by the receiving unit; and a profile image forming unit (103) which forms profile image data representing a two-dimensional or three-dimensional profile of the tool, from the point group data.
