Abstract:
This image processing device processes image data captured by an imaging unit of an imaging device that includes a holding unit which rotatably holds a tool having a plurality of blades and the imaging unit which captures an image of the tool from a direction intersecting with the rotation axis when the tool is rotating, said image processing device comprising: an image processing unit that detects a contour position of the tool from the captured image data and carries out a process for associating the contour position with the rotation angle at the time of image capture; and a data processing unit that subjects association data to a Fourier transform and processes, as the number of blades of the tool, a numerical value which has the maximum value on a numerical value axis.
