Abstract:
An image processing device (140) overlay-prints a multi-color manuscript with a plurality of color inks by converting a multinary pixel value of RGB color space corresponding to the manuscript colors of the multi-color manuscript image into a multinary pixel value of CMY color space corresponding to color inks used for printing. The image processing device (140) includes a color space coordinate conversion unit (141) for referencing a color conversion LUT (131) containing relationship between the multinary image value of the RGB color space and the multinary pixel value of the CMY color space and converting the multinary pixel value of the RGB color space into the multinary pixel value of the CMY color space corresponding to the color inks used for printing; and a correction unit (142) for correcting the multinary pixel value of the CMY color space converted by referencing the color conversion LUT, according to the color inks used for printing and their overlay order.
