Title:
IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND PROGRAM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/178234
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
[Problem] To make it possible to create a panorama image having a higher sense of realism and immersion without forcing an excessive burden onto a user. [Solution] The present invention performs: a position-alignment-determination processing (2) for determining whether or not position alignment which ensures the consistency of the captured subject is possible between panorama-captured-image data and other captured-image data which is not the panorama-captured-image data; and an image-linking processing (3) for linking the panorama-captured-image data with the other captured-image data for which a position alignment in relation to the panorama-captured-image data is determined to be possible. For example, when creating a panorama image having an improved sense of realism and immersion by integrating another captured image which is not the panorama captured image such as a video or a high-resolution image, the user need only shoot a panorama image and another image from substantially the same shooting location. Consequently, without forcing an excessive burden onto the user, it is possible to achieve a panorama image having a higher sense of realism and immersion.
