Abstract:
The objective of the present invention is to enable the generation of a panoramic moving image with high synthesis performance while reducing the amount of calculation. A positional deviation amount acquisition unit acquires the amount of positional deviation for a prescribed number of frames from multiple frames of both a first moving image and a second moving image obtained by imaging with a camera. A frame selection unit selects the prescribed number of frames from the multiple frames. For example, the frame selection unit selects the prescribed number of frames on the basis of a sensor output and/or an image processing result. On the basis of the amount of positional deviation for the prescribed number of frames, an image synthesis unit combines the first moving image and the second moving image to obtain a panoramic image.
