Abstract:
Provided is an image processing device 100, comprising: a conversion unit 102 which converts a first color image into brightness information and color information other than the brightness information; a brightness compression unit 104 which generates pixel value-downsampled compressed brightness information from the brightness information; a reconversion unit 106 which composites the compressed brightness information and the color information and generates a second color image; an edge extraction unit 108 which extracts an edge which is included in the first color image; and a pixel value change unit 110 which, while preserving a similar color, changes the pixel value in the position of the edge in the second color image and generates a third color image.
