Abstract:
The image processing device according to the present invention is provided with: a subject image acquisition unit that acquires an image of a subject; a to-be-detected object image selection unit that selects a to-be-detected object image from which an area of interest is to be detected; a superimposition object information generation unit that generates spatial information about a superimposition object which is to be superimposed over one of multiple subject images so as to indicate an area of interest; a superimposition target image selection unit that selects a superimposition target image; an inter-image correspondence information generation unit that generates information about inter-image correspondence between the to-be-detected object image and the superimposition target image; a spatial information correction unit that corrects the spatial information of the superimposition object; and an object superimposition unit that superimposes the superimposition object over the superimposition target image, wherein until the spatial information of the superimposition object is generated with respect to one to-be-detected object image, the process performed by the superimposition target image selection unit to select a superimposition target image, the process performed by the inter-image correspondence information generation unit to generate inter-image correspondence information, the process performed by the spatial information correction unit to correct spatial information, and the process performed by the object superimposition unit to superimpose the superimposition object are all executed repeatedly.
