Abstract:
The present invention pertains to an image processing device, an image processing method, a program, and a projection system, which enable reduction of processing when projecting an image based on an equidistant cylindrical image by using a plurality of projectors. The image processing device according to one aspect of the present invention generates, as images used for generating respective projection images to be projected from a plurality of projectors, second equidistant cylindrical images which use, as center pixels, the center pixels of first equidistant cylindrical images in respective projection regions of the plurality of projectors and which comprise pixels in respective angular ranges that encompass the respective projection regions. The present invention is applicable to a computer where a video picture is projected from a plurality of projectors.
