Abstract:
The present invention stores feature information corresponding to each of a plurality of sensitivity words, calculates a feature amount representing a skin texture of a skin region of an input image, generates, on the basis of the calculated feature amount and the stored feature information and in accordance with an instruction from an operator, correction information for making a correction such that the skin region has a desired skin texture, and corrects the skin texture of the skin region of the input image on the basis of the generated correction information. The present invention makes it possible to perform correction for improving the skin texture in accordance with the desire of the operator in a short time.
