Abstract:
The present technology relates to an image processing device, an image processing method, and a program which can widen the range of expression of a moving image generated by using a 3D model. The image processing device is provided with: a virtual camera setting unit which sets virtual cameras; a virtual viewpoint image generation unit which generates virtual viewpoint images that are images in a case where a 3D object is viewed from the viewpoints of the virtual cameras; a synthesis unit which generates synthesis images based on a plurality of the virtual viewpoint images; and a moving image generation unit which generates a moving image including frames based on the virtual viewpoint images or the synthesis images, wherein, after a plurality of the virtual cameras are arranged, the virtual camera setting unit integrates the plurality of virtual cameras by causing at least one among the plurality of virtual cameras to be moved. The present technology can be applied to, for example, a device that edits the moving image.
