Abstract:
The present technology pertains to an image processing device and method, and a program, which make it possible to perform an appropriate live view display. This image processing device is provided with a control unit that, in a case where a plurality of captured images to be used as record are continuously photographed, makes a selection whether to perform blackout-free live view display for sequentially displaying a captured image and one or more inter-frame images that are not to be used as record and that have been each photographed in a period after when the captured image is photographed and before when the next captured image is photographed, or to perform blackout live view display in which a blackout display period for not displaying an image and a display period for sequentially displaying at least the inter-frame images are alternately provided. The present technology is applicable to cameras.
