Abstract:
This image processing device comprises at least one processor, wherein the processor executes: a calcification candidate shape detection process for detecting a calcification candidate shape estimated to be a calcified shape from among a series of a plurality of projection images obtained by means of tomosynthesis photography of a breast or a plurality of tomographic images obtained from the plurality of projection images; a calcification candidate image group generation process for generating a calcification candidate image group by extracting, as a calcification candidate image, a region including the calcification candidate shape detected by the calcification candidate shape detection process from each of the plurality of projection images; and a calcification assessment process for assessing whether the calcification candidate shape is a calcified shape on the basis of the calcification candidate image group generated by the calcification candidate image group generation process.
