Abstract:
An image acquiring unit 42 of an image processing device 10 according to the present invention acquires stereo images taken by a first camera 13a and a second camera 13b that constitute an imaging device 12. An input information acquiring unit 44 accepts an operation by a user. A first positional information acquiring unit 52 of a positional information generating unit 46 specifies a rough position of a photographic subject by using a predetermined means. A second positional information acquiring unit 56 determines an estimated distance range of an object on the basis of the rough position, and performs block matching of the stereo images within a limited search range corresponding to the estimated distance range to detect a corresponding point, so that the position of the object is highly accurately obtained at a high resolution. An output information generating unit 50 generates and outputs output data on the basis of the position of the object.
