Abstract:
This image processing device according to the present disclosure is used for a mounting device provided with a mounting part that inserts one or more projections of a component having a body and the projections formed on the body to an insertion part formed in a processing object and that disposes the component on the processing object. This image processing device detects, from a captured image of the projections to which light is applied from a side with respect to the component and the body to which light is applied from below with respect to the component, a shape of the body, positions of the projections, the number of the projections, and tips of the projections, acquires information regarding the insertion part, and generates a component model that includes a profile shape model including the shape and direction of the body and a projection model including the positions and the number of the projections, and characteristics of the tips.
