Abstract:
This image processing device comprises: a parallax prediction means for predicting the parallax between a first image and a second image using a different method to stereo matching; a conversion means for implementing conversion processing for reducing the number of pixels in the horizontal direction and/or the vertical direction for each of the first image and the second image; a setting means for setting the search range of corresponding points in stereo matching on the basis of the predicted parallax; and a means for searching the corresponding points of each pixel between the first image after conversion processing and the second image after conversion processing, limited to the set search range.
