Abstract:
Provided is an image processing device that enables an image degradation determination to be performed in a highly precise manner, irrespective of a driving route or the weather. The invention comprises: a parallax calculation unit 103 that determines a parallax image; a feature point detection unit 105 that detects feature points (such as edges) from the image; a parallax loss count calculation unit 107 that refers to an area in the parallax image corresponding to a feature point area determined by the feature point detection unit 105 and that counts the number of predetermined unit areas exhibiting parallax loss; and an image degradation determination unit 109 that determines image degradation from the counting result by the parallax loss count calculation unit 107.
