Abstract:
An image processing method and apparatus, and a storage medium, related to the technical field of image processing, and capable of reducing the processing pressure on a CPU as much as possible while satisfying the requirement of a user for high-definition content. The method comprises: an electronic device acquiring pupil coordinates of a user, and according to the pupil coordinates, determining a gaze region and a non-gaze region of the user on a display; and the electronic device rendering an image of the gaze region using a high resolution and rendering an image of the non-gaze region using a low resolution, thereby reducing the rendering pressure on a GPU of the electronic device. In addition, the electronic device can also stitch a rendered image of the gaze region and a rendered image of the non-gaze region, and display a stitched image on the display. Given that the image of the gaze region in the stitched image is a high-definition image, the requirement of the user for a high-definition image is satisfied.
