Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an image processing method and apparatus, which relate to the field of image processing technology, and solve the problem in the prior art that image quality cannot be balanced while seeking a high compression rate. The specific technical solution is: acquiring a current available bandwidth B and calculating a bandwidth Bi required for transmission of a target image coded at a preset image coding quality level; determining a currently most appropriate image coding quality level according to whether Bi is greater than B and in combination with different restriction conditions, and performing coding processing of the target image on the basis of quantization parameters of the level. Thus, the problem in the prior art that image quality cannot be balanced while seeking a high compression rate is solved.
