Abstract:
An image processing method carries out a color transfer processing in consideration of
chromatic adaptation for input image data to make the visual sensitivity of a
color in the first visual environment consistent with that of the color in the second
visual environment. The image processing method sets not less than one adaptation
factor for every color representing parameter out of adaptation factors indicative
of either the degree of adaptation for the first visual environment or the degree
of adaptation for the second visual environment and carries out the color transfer
processing.
