Abstract:
Provided are an image processing system and a camera system that can appropriately sense an object by the background difference method even if the light exposure conditions for a camera change. The camera system is provided with the image processing system 100. The image processing system 100 is provided with: an original image acquisition unit 101 that acquires a first original image and a second original image; a brightness correction unit 104 that acquires a brightness-corrected image by correcting the brightness value of the second original image so as to reduce the difference from the brightness value of the first original image in accordance with the light exposure conditions for each original image; and a background-difference object sensing unit 105 that senses an object by acquiring a background difference on the basis of the brightness-corrected image.
