Abstract:
A processor of this image processing system is configured to execute acquisition of a plurality of captured images which are captured by exterior cameras and have at least partially overlapping imaging range portions. The processor is configured to execute generation of a composite image in which a plurality of viewpoint images, from specific virtual viewpoints, that resulted from conversion from the captured images are combined. Generation of the composite image includes generation of a composite image in which: a region of a road surface is curved such that the horizon has an upwardly convex shape; viewpoint images are combined with each other such that image-captured road surfaces overlap each other at the same actual road surface in at least a part of overlapping imaging range portions of the viewpoint images; and a three-dimensional object rendered across the horizon in the viewpoint images is curved smoothly across the horizon.
